*********** dispute department with biais assessments.

I am sitting with a claim for more than 3 weeks because of unskilled assessors used by miway and surprisingly they take side blindly. A heavy garage door that slided faster on the ground and got cracked is assessed as wear and tear. The physics of garage door supports that cracked door causes imbalance in the springs that can cause them to break. This so called assessors are using black magic to affirm events that occurred and miway is buying it. I explained to them what really happened they closed their eyes and ears to see evidence before them. An assessor who comes at night to report nonsense. Below is the last email from miway: Good Day Mr Mukendi. Note that the sliding of the door to the ground was caused the those springs which could longer hold the door firmly. The crack has been caused wear and tear of the springs. It would have been different where the garage door was intact and collided by the vehicle or any external force. But here the springs could not hold any more, which is wear and tear.

Kind regards,

Legal Dispute Specialist My answer to you:

Kgake You are not making sense at all. You are really trying so hard but you are still not good enough. I don't know if you have a garage door or have seen one. Yesterday while at work a lady called while trying explain some nonsense to me she is even calling garage door = gate. So you think if a garage door is on manual and in an opening position when you start closing it. The spring will stop it? If this can come from a dispute department it is very disappointing. Is this a **** with people working together?

Please carefully choose your service providers, make sure they are qualified and take a dispute seriously because this can be a door opened for legal action against our outcome.
As medical doctor I have given explanations based on my understanding from what I experienced even mentioned weight/physics behind to counter argue not knowin that I was right because that was the only explanation I could come up with. The assessor who comes at night and does poor assessment without considering facts is no better than a layman. They don't understand the physics behind what I was telling you and them only a true and qualified mechanical or structural engineer can understand.

There are several scholarly articles related to garage door cracks and uneven weight distribution that can cause springs to break. One such article is "Failure Analysis of Garage Door Springs" by R. L. Wilson, published in the Journal of Failure Analysis and Prevention.

The article explains that garage door springs are designed to balance the weight of the door and its components, which includes the tracks, hinges, and rollers. However, cracks or damage to the door panels can disrupt the weight distribution, leading to an increased load on one side of the door. This can cause the spring on that side to break, making the door difficult to open or close.

The physics behind this problem is related to the principle of leverage. When the weight of the door is not distributed evenly, the force required to lift it becomes greater on one side than the other. This puts extra stress on the spring on the overloaded side, leading to failure.

That exactly what happened, the heavy garage door sliding fast , cracking on the left, causing uneven weight distribution and breaking of the spring on the left

This is ridiculous as insurance relying on unskilled assessors.

Please resolve this issue and stop being clueless and learn to better do your job.
