********* dispute and management. Offering a settlement as a bribe?
Good day,
I was pleased to hear from your manager regarding the settlement, not for me to keep the money, but rather for me to fix the problem. I was unaware that he used a quote that caused a dispute. Why didn't you send them to fix it themselves if you are using their quote? That was the question I asked Elton when I later discovered that the settlement came from an assessor I was not satisfied with. Please consider that if you visit a doctor who misdiagnosed you, do you think they will treat you properly? I believe all the decisions you guys make are business decisions. I am not seeking compensation. I have a valid claim that has not been honored. Kindly provide me with your manager's contact details. This is unacceptable. Do you guys understand what conflict of interest means.
Message from Kgake: Good Day Mr Mukendi. Note that the decision to settle your claim as per your discussion with my manager, Mr Siyaka Masiye, is purely a business decision and not that you are entitled to compensation as your claim was found to be rejected on the basis of wear and tear. By committing to what is offer your claim, it does not validate your claim as it is still remain rejected, hence, a business decision to settle. Since your are rejecting our offer, we advise that you may proceed to get further recourse from the Ombudsman for Short Term Insurance
