Dishonest insurance

Im currently insured with miway car insurance. First time car owner. I was involve in a car accident, and ofcos I called miway. What is over whelming is that this people gave me a cover that only covers my car when its lost/ has 70% damage in an accident, which I wouldnt be even alive to make those claims. All this was never explained to me when I took this car insurance. How can you assist me peter, I desparately need your help.
