Disgrace customer service
I got involved in an accident on the 26.08.2023 and logged a claim on Tuesday 29.08.2023 which was allocated to Olga. I waited until friday 28.08.2023 for Olga to contact me of which when she contacted me i was busy i told her to call me at 15:00, but she told me i should use their call centre number and she didn’t call me. I called back on the 31st August to follow up amd i spoke to a lady who asked me the details of the accident and what happened. I did explain the details of the accident.
I received a call from Relebogile on the 7.09.2023 that he is the assessor appointed to validate my claim, we spoke and he asked about the deta of my accident and i did explain to him and he aksed to come see me of which we made arrangements for him to come at 14:00 on Friday the 8th September 2023. He came with a colleague indian guy and i thought these guys are coming to get a better understanding of what happened but unfortunately they were not there to do that, but they were visiting me to interrogate me. Imagine paying insurance since 2020 November to date and haven’t even claim once, on top of that because i thought Miway was a good insurance they have my business insurance as well but i was disrespected in such a way that i was really ****ed. These guys are not even there to understand they were there to make thei own conclusion. The guy misunderstood me and I gladly corrected him and made it clear that this is what i am saying and the problem might be i think you are underestimating me but you are not and it is better you tell me that this is how you are understanding so i can confirm but the guy told me straight that i am changing my stories and i am lying. The dude he is rude, how the hell ii pay so much money for almost 3 years to be disrespected and to be interrogated when its time for me to claim? Is this now the true colors of Miway?
All of a sudden i need to provide my tracker’s locations but the day i took my insurance i was never told about all that. Don’t you think that is a big deal to tell clients so that they are able to make their own decisions before joining and not only to surprise them coz you want to reject their claima now you come with stories and requests all sorts of things that can help to not assit. Honestly at this point I wouldn’t recommend Miway even to my worst enemy. The service is disgusting, disgraceful. Why do i have to be interrogated for a policy i am paying? What kind of nonsense is that? If anyone want a reliable insurance company that is willing to come through during the unfortunate events don’t go for Miway. I deeply regret why i even joined in the first place that even my business insurance i will cancel without even thinking twice and give it to the company that is reliable enough and have integrity.

The company that they are hiring to reconstruct the accident don’t come cheap I’m sure, but they rather pay that than sorting my claim as a client. I joined this insurance thinking things are more efficient, they have integrity and i wont have to be taken back and forth when i have a claim. This is my first claim and the experience it gets sour and bitter each time. For 2 years and 9 months i have been paying but this is the service i get from Miway. No wonder there’s lots of bad reviews and unfortunately i didn’t check them out before joining them I wouldn’t have bothered.
So Relibogile the guy who is handling my claim told me that neeh these people who are going to get hired they have been working with them and they can even go to court to support their findings, but here i am as a client thinking cost for me to even have to go to court because Miway don’t want to pay my claim. I have to waste my time and money because i am fighting for my claim to be paid. neeh man, don’t you think that’s kind of a shame if it has to even go that far as a service provider for clients to fight for their claims to be honored. But well he is doing his job he was just advising pathetic Miway process so I can’t put that on him, he is a good guy.
As for me my advise to whoever who would be reading this review as part of decision to either join Miway or look somewhere else i would say go look elsewhere, you don’t want to find yourself being told lots of processes that they don’t disclose the time you join but when you claim they will do all in their power to reject your claim. With mine i dont know even after getting whoever they will get what other means they will come up with. I just used to hear other insurances when they say join insurance that will pay you and Miway is not one of them. you will regret joining Miway. I don’t recommend Miway at all.
