Didn't give permission for Miway to go through my cell phone records

On the 11th of June I got into an accident with my two kids that where in the car. Luckily it was not serious as I hit a wall as I was trying to avoid a vehicle that was overtaking two vehicles. I then drove to the police station as the car was still drivable I was then told to come back the following day to make a statement as I was in stock, so I did so. Later called the insurance after I made the statement as it was a Sunday they where closed so I was contacted the next day, an assessor was assigned to me that come only a week later to see me I took him to the scene of the accident and later interviewed me. The one mistake I did was let my husband come with me to meet this guy. Because during the interview as I was telling him want happened he kept on emphasizing that am I sure that it wasn't my husband that was driving the car. He then told me I should provide him with my bank statement so he can see if I didn't buy any alcohol on the day of the accident which I provided because they was nothing there I was then forced to sign papers that would give access to go through my cellphone records I refused to sign them as I felt it was Invasion of privacy. Why not I just provide them with it. I was later told that my policy has been cancelled because I didn't comply and that I was not being truthful to the fact that is was driving. Now am stuck with a car I can't afford to fix because I was told I was lieing by the assessor.
