Delaying settling a claim unnessesarily

My mothers house was broken into on the weekend of 7 October. Lodged a claim on this. She is insured for both home contents and buildings insurance. House was ransacked, vandalized and some items ****** in the house. Burglar bars were broken, house was left flooded with water and all the rooms have carpets. Miway sent two assessors, one for building insurance and the other for home contents. Up till now claim is not resolved. The person who came for home contents keep on calling my mom asking degrading questions as if my mother is a *****. Mind you the house is still smelly because of the carpets which were flooded with water up till today. He even went to a point of asking for a divorce settlement of my parents who were divorced in 2014 (as to what a divorce settlement has to do with a burglary claim, i really dont know. Reason given was to see what items were awarded to my father. But what does that have to do with damaged or ****** items?). This morning for example has asked why some items my mom bought at makro were not told to him. Like really?? Miway is going all out to find or create loopholes where a 59 year old woman who lives alone and was insured by you, house was broken into, nothing has been fixed till now, burglar bars are still not fixed, windows are still not fixed and A MONTH later whats more important is going through reported ****** items one by one trying to find proof of purchase? Is that whats most important to you as an insurer more than the safety or well being of clients? Because all this looks like is trying by all means to get out of approving a claim or restoring the house to what it was as that is generally what insurance is for. Everything that was broken and damaged (burglar bars and windows) for *****s to gain entry into the house is still like that and nothing has been fixed because miway is still 'validating the claim'

After this, Sean got back to me and on 3 November, sent me a claim settlement which i was not happy about and questioned it as it was only settling a portion of the damage and not clear as to whether it related to home contents or building or both and why there were exclusions. I asked for more clarity and expressed what i was not happy with and i'm not going to except the attempt at an unfair settlement almost immediately via email. I sent another email on Monday the 6th asking for a response for Fridays email, nothing from Sean, I sent another email Tuesday the 7th and received a response saying he would get me comprehensive feedback shortly, a day later (8 November) still nothing. What will it take for my claim to be settled and resolved? Taking into consideration that this is the second time i write on HelloPeter about the same matter?
