Dealing with Miway has been more traumatic than my accident.

Hi, Im literally writing this shaking , Ever since i have put through my claim and i was forwarded to Lesego Pha******* as my advisor and honestly since then dealing with Miway has been more traumatic for me than the actual accident.

Firstly Lesego never called me to let me know the outcome of the assessors I had to call to ask them hours later after receiving the quotation from assessors. i accepted that shes busy with many clients so never took it to heart.

I asked her about my options and she jumped straight to telling me i should take my car to the salvage garage which immediately shocked me as if that seemed to be my only option which i asked her numerous times during that call for other options which seemed she wasn't interested in.

I have never been in an accident before and therefore didnt know what to do and where to go because at this point my advisor was interested took a few days and asked around about possible options then after hearing from different people what my options are I then reverted back to Lesego to tell her i choose to repair my car and i forwarded my quotation to her on the 21 of september then on the 26th of sep i called the claims dep to find out how far my claim is and the lady told me the quote has been forwarded to the relevant person, A few hours later Lesego calls me and asks me telephonically when did i send the quote which i found odd because she had responded to my email "quote recieved" and I Asked her who then responded to my email? She said to me quickly after that ohh "i have already sent it to the assesor' at this point im tired of this claim so I laughed it off and asked her revert back to me with the result.

Today I get a call from Lesego telling me the claim is successful and again i had to ask Lesego what this means in regards with my car, She says to me it will be considered a code 3 write off and that the report had said that and i told her theres no way my car which is driveable could be a write off based on the fact that the overpriced assosers miway uses quoted me an arm an a leg for something that is easily repairable can she do something about that she then puts me on hold and tells me the samething, i say no go back and fix this and i was put on hold again luckily the line cut cause if it did not Miway Assisted by Lesego would have massively misleaded me completely.

When the line cut I called miway and spoke to a lovely lady by the name of Janice Pieterse who forwarded me the report in black and white saying "Assessor’s recommendation - Code 2 request This vehicle has been declared uneconomical to repair. This vehicle in question is however repairable, but the assessor and/or insurer has elected not to repair the vehicle as the repair costs, repair duration, availability of spare parts and the inconvenience to the client was taken into consideration. Therefore, the vehicle is accordingly NOT PERMANENTLY UNFIT for use as a motor vehicle as contemplated in section 55 of part 111 of the National Road Traffic Regulations in terms of the Road Traffic Act. It is recommended that the vehicle is NOT deregistered"

which i found very shocking after being told for days by Lesego that my car is a code 3, a write off and it should be deregistered from cover.

Still with this information that Lesego has still sends me a disclaimer that i should sign that my car is a write off a code 3" somebody tell me which report Lesego was reading that she came to the conclusion and how dare she cause me such distress and heartache continuously and what purpose has it served her?

All I need at this point is for The disclaimer to be fixed that my car is not a write off or a code 3 but it is uneconomical to repair and then i will happily sign it.

Kindly listen to all the recorded calls to hear how unpleasent this lady has been.
