Customer 'disservice'

I am APPALLED by the "service" received as a MiWay customer. I lodged a claim for my phone as it was not charging. It was collected from me on the 3rd of June and then I received NO communication from the contact person.

This is the email I received when lodging the claim.

"Your claim reference number is: C739341. Lerato Motsamai will be assisting you with the claims process, you can contact your claims representative at *** or ***."

I tried to call Lerato on numerous occasions and the phone immediately went to voicemail and I was unable to leave a message. She did not reply to my emails either.

I FINALLY got some information from Zanele, who informed me that the battery needed to be replaced. I TRIED THAT AND THE PHONE STILL WASN'T WORKING!

Why does it take an entire week to get back to me? Why are your consultants NOT responsive?

The excess is R400 - but the cost of a new battery (WHICH ISN'T THE ACTUAL PROBLEM) is R467.

What concerns me is what is going to happen if we need to submit a more serious claim?!

This is level of service appalling and completely unacceptable!
