I recently called Miway on the 16/04/2018 to log a claim for my car insurance after having been involved in a car accident. The accident left me quite shaken and as this was my first ever claim to any insurance company, I did not know what to expect or where to even start. I’ve always heard people complain about car insurance companies when it comes to claiming. I made the dreaded call to MiWay and was first assisted by a lady named Bridget until the line got cut off but she never got back to me. One of my friends told me – You only get to really put your insurance to the test when you claim – I responded to my friend that so far the experience is not good. Nonetheless, I then called again and this time I was assisted by Mxolisi. I, myself work in a call centre and I know all about customer service. As a damsel in distress, Mxolisi really showed what customer service is all about. He was not only more than just helpful, but he took the time to listen to me, he symphathised and to my surprise, he fully understood the state that i was in. Mxolisi went all out to help me with the system challanges he was facing and called me back when my phone got cut off. In my line of work, we often get told to put opurselves in the customers’ shoes, and Mxolisi did exactly that - he helped me as if it was his own deal even though there was someone who had started with my claim he never sent me back to say he cant help because it not his deal, Coming from a customer service environment, and this being my first ever claim where I did not know what to expect and what to do, I would like to commend Mxolisi for the great service he provided me. This is what customer service is all about. THANK YOU MXOLISI!!!! Well done. Please keep it up.
