Claims

Hi all, just a quick breakdown I had a accident on the 11 May 2019. The assessor treated me like I was a ********, i understand a job has to be done but it took him over 1 month just to finalize and approve my claim. Secondly my vehicle was sent to a panel shop which was supposedly part of the groups preffered dealers. They then removed my vehicle from this panel shop to another called renewit bedfordview. My vehicle was quoted to be a write off at one panel shop mi way claimed it could be repaired at the current place renewit. I have the quotation from both. One is half of the others pricing. I waited until approximately end of June begining July 2019 no one kept in contact with me until I approached the shop un announced. Where nothing had been done to my vehicle. As a matter of fact no one knew where my vehicle was when they contacted me for windscreens etc. I then got my vehicle back had paid my excess of R6000+- and repairs were not done correctly, the chassis was still scew and pulling terrible to the left, panels not fitted correctly, paint jobs were not done well and extra damage had been done to my back bumper. Approx 23 issues still with the front smash I had. We then returned the vehicle within 2 days to the preffered dealership renewit panelbeaters they gave me a courtesy vehicle which I am currently still driving for almost a month now. (Costing me alot of money on petrol) They called me today for a follow up on my repairs which I may add I have still not recieved my vehicle or any feedback on my vehicle, how are these two companies running? Maybe under cuts maybe **** parts, maybe parts not repaired at all. I am disgusted with the service from both companies and cannot believe I have been without my vehicle for almost 3 months. I am horrified, angry and scared to even get my vehicle back to transport my children as how do I know the job is now correct? I would never recommend these two companies to anyone I have 2 children to transport and this is the inconvienince I have been put through. A response is needed as when you contact miway/renewit to speak to bosses everyone will call you back which never happens!
