Claim rejection

the statement that insurers will always look for reasons not to pay claims is true. I have tyre cover protection with Miway. On the 5th of December it was raining heavily and I hit a pothole damaging two of my tyres, submitted a claim with miway and this people are rejecting my claim stating that I do not have prove of ownership for the tyres and yet they requested me to email pictures of damaged tyres. What type of prove of ownership do they want if the damaged tyres are not confirmation of ownership.

They also stated that I did not take the vehicle for assessment yet no one requested me to take the vehicle for assessment.

Please watch out for this miway. if you have tyre cover protection with them expect the same if you were planning to insure with miway better look elsewhere cause I will have to look for cover elsewhere as well. if they can come up with such stories what more when I have a bigger loss?
