Claim rejection

Our car was broken into at the train station where we park. Our baby's car seat and pram was ******, as well as the car's battery. There wasn't any obvious damage to the car, except that, after the incident, we could no longer open the rear door of the vehicle. MiWay has now rejected to pay our claim, as there is no visible damage to the vehicle. They cannot deny that the car door no longer opening is due to the break in, but according to them, it's not enough evidence that it was caused by the break in.

I am so frustrated, as we can't afford to replace the pram and car seat, yet we still have to travel with our baby.

What is the use of insurance then? Would they have paid if we decided to break the window ourselves??? At least we were honest and provided all the necessary documents that they required.

Very disappointed to say the least...
