claim rejected based on assumpton

I feel that my claim was not properly handled , it was based on assumptions. When the contractor came to assess the damage on the ceiling I mentioned to his that Absa had replaced the same ceiling years back before I joining Miway because there was a leak on the roof , but to my surprise Miway used that info to reject my claim saying I should take it up with Absa , so was I supposed to lie and not mention that my ceiling was replaced about 7yrs back ? how Is that after I have been paying all premiums to you. The other thing the lady mentioned is that I was paid out for a claim in November , yes its true, but I have not yet replaced that geyser because we will be renovating my bathroom In June, so there is no way that someone went up in my ceiling and caused the damage on my bedroom ceiling , with is far from my bathroom , another question I would like to find out is , if the geyser caused the damage to my bedroom ceiling , how come was my bathroom ceiling not affected when the geyser is there?

I need answers, or should I go find another insurance where they won’t just assume why things happen , im very disappointed
