Claim and policy cancelled by Miway

I had 2 unfortunate incidents, a car accident(5June) and house burglary(7June). So imagine my state of mind at that time. My car claim was honoured but my burglary claim and my whole policy was cancelled on " Dishonesty" making it difficult for me to get insurance now which the assessor told me to mention. My safe was ****** which contained my jewellery. The reason my whole policy was cancelled because l claimed for an item of jewellery, as mine( given to me by my mother ), which was then given to my daughter by my mother so when the assessor questioned her she told him exactly that. It was a family heirloom and it was kept in my safe .My daughter got married last year and moved out this year so l was told that she is not a member of my household. I provided certificates and invoices for most of the other items that was ******. He even took pictures of the remaining items that l still wore whilst on my body,to validate the claim. He even went as far as suggesting that l was claiming for items that was previously ******. The assessor found one item to get the panel to cancel my entire claim and my policy. The disputed results are still negative. I feel l was treated unfairly by being honest. I had 2 vehicles, my building and household items covered in this policy. Read your policy documents carefully and hope this doesn't happen to anyone else.
