Chamaine Maabane from Miway

Hi All

There are few times in this life when you take the time to thank someone who deserves it. Most times one submit reports of bad service or if you feel aggrieved somehow. This is human nature and its easy to take the time to report negatively than providing positive comments.

Well, I places some effort into providing this feedback and I will tell you why!

I am a ****her of two, one of which is a 23 weeker micro prem, I don't have the luxury of time or extra cash. My idea of free time is sleep. The lock down has not made this any easier, for anyone. My kids are at home and destroy everything including my devises (Phone) and it dropped and cracked the screen terribly.

I naturally thought that I will be at a loss, as I am an emergency response official, I am on call and require a phone during times or urgency. When I contacted Miway regarding the repair of my devise. They went to every length to salvage my devise. Unfortunately it was no longer economically viable. They have approved expeditiously the replacement value to be paid to me. this would allow me to recover the cost for a new phone as soon as possible. But this is what you would expect from a reputable insurance company. To honor their obligations.

What you would normally not receive is a good conversation and a friendly helpful and insightful person on the other end or the phone call.

I had the pleasure to speak with Charmaine Maabane. She took my details very professionally and with a touch of kindness related to my situation. Chamaine, as will most of Miway consultants, work from home. I must not be easy to juggle the work and home life but she did it with well. In our short engagement we discussed our children and the situation in South Africa. The human element in Charmaine made all the difference.
