CAUTION!!!! Miway means No Way

I have been a loyal Miway client since Feb 2012 & despite having some difficulty in finalizing a vehicle related claim in Aug 2016, I was persuaded to signup again when I purchased my new Hyundai I10 Grand in Sept 2016.

At 15h00 on Monday 14 August 2017, my vehicle died on me as I was driving home. Hyundai Roadside Assistance towed my vehicle to Hyundai Edenvale & from there it has been down hill (i.e. the vehicle which I bought brand new, which went for it's 1st service on 08 July 2017 & which was towed to the parking / reception area of Hyundai Edenvale's service station, unscathed is now reported to have been in an accident, the radiator is busted etc).

One would think lodging a claim the very next day (15 Aug 2017) would be pretty easy? WRONG! I had to lodge my claim 3 times with 2 different claims advisors even though "all phone calls are recorded for quality purposes" & I have been required to repeat my claim to the exact same claims assessor more times than I wish to remember.

Feedback, updates & call back's are promised indicating an actual date & time, yet when it's crunch time .... there are no emails, no updates or call back's (ie a promised 12h00 call back only takes place at 16h00).

The designated claims advisors are unable to timeously assist & respond as needed & cannot even arrange for a mere courtesy car let alone email the right person who is supposed to be your appointed claims assessor - for actual assistance, the managers are required to intervene.

As a client you are assisted when they can / want to accommodate you ... it has been 3 unbearably stressful weeks & to date (29 Aug 2017, 03h11 AM) I have yet to receive some feedback on when my vehicle will be repaired despite the fact that I already agreed to the excess payable of R 4,680.

I am at my wit's end - speechless!!!
