Car still not assesed after 1 week!!!

I was involved in an accident on 28/12/15. I called in to report the accident and submit a claim on the 29/12/15 at 8am. I then had to wait a week for my car to be towed on Monday (4/1/16) to the panelbeaters (Harveys) and no one has since been in contact with me with regards to my car or my claim since then. I have called miway twice this week only to be informed that my car is still waiting to be assessed which will only be done on Friday according to Harveys. This is highly fraustrating as it has now been almost 2 weeks since my claim has been done and no repairs has been done to my car as yet. Added to this, my car hire with miway will end in 2weeks and no one is able to tell me if my car will be ready by then because they are yet to assess it and spares are yet to be oredered, which means that I will have to pay for extended car hire if needed. This is not acceptable. It should not take this long to have my vehicle assesed and the repairs started.
