car assessed by assessor and panel beating shop

My son had an incident with his car while driving his rim broke after loging a claim and sending photos we were asked to take the car to an assessor, the claim was finally processed after a month but in order for us to get a pyout we had to first drop of the rims at a approved panelbeater, once they confirmed reciept of the rims to the insurance company then only would we get paid, which meant my car has to stand on bricks while the insurance sorts out payment, so the insurance company paid me out for my sons sound which was also damaged, I then used that money to purchase the new rims and had to have them fitted what a hassel with that, we were told to talkethe car to a panel beater who had no idea of what was going on after much swearing and fighting I finally got Myway to pay for the fitment(I am still waiting for payment) only to find out that there is more damage than just the rim and that the whole right tyre needs to be straightenend which by the way the assessor and panel beating shop did not pick up in the first place. My childs life is in danger because some idiot didn't do his job properly and didn't note all the damages on the car in the first place.they have been told
