Cannot cancel policy online even though they have a "cancel policy" button

I've been trying to cancel my policy because I have left the country. Why is there a button on the online app that says "cancel policy" if you cannot actually cancel the policy online? I've had to email and call to get the policy cancelled, and when I spoke to the senior advisor policy person they told me that you cannot cancel it online - if this is the case then there should not be a button telling you that you can!

Other than this I've been very happy with Midway service.
