Can, can't or won't have it MiWay

I'm laying this complaint because I'm unsure if black people are just trying to make things hard for each other, or if they just don't understand the policy wording or if it's the insurer that just doesn't care about its customers.

I was told that the car hire on my policy is exclusive to only Car accidents, I can't access it if I have to get the car repaired : I have to take the car in on Wednesday to replace the clutch and this will leave my wife without a means of transportation for Thursday, Friday and Saturday. I am not asking the insurer to pay for the clutch (my benefit on the warranty is only 1500,if I'm lucky). I want to know why I can't access the car hire if I am taking the car in for repairs that will help me avoid any accidents.

Can I Or can I not use my car hire benefit if I need to repair the vehicle?
