C661458 Recovery procedure

How long does it take Miway to respond to a client's query or is it a case that you just don't respond and hope the person gives up. My wife was involved in a minor accident in January 2015. We are trying to claim her excess paid to Miway back from the third party, but Miway does not want to give the go ahead. Common Miway! This should not take 9 months.
