By far the worst claim exprience 3 months and 24 days to get my claim approved and vehical fixed

I had an accident, and log a claim with MiWay in 21 February 2016. I was assigned a consultant to deal with my claim after 2 weeks. I was told that a cell phone beacon certificate is required. I am with Telkom and that takes up to 30 days. I checked on the progress on a weekly basis. I was always told it takes time have patience. Monday, 11 April he called to say I would have a decision on this matter by Friday 15 April. On Friday he called to informed me that the Telkom department actioned this on 18 March, but it was not done on their side I was further told that I would be called by the close of business on Friday 15 April. I didn't hear anything feedback. 18 April, I emailed and called him but I still have not heard back from him. If the assessor had checked up on Telkom on a regular basis like I was doing with him. We would have had this matter sorted out in the Middle of March. Its now a month later and I am under extreme inconvenience resulting in me using public transport to come to work. It seems that miway is more concerned about proving that your claim is not valid rather than helping you out in your time of need. After discussing the matter with his manager the claim was approved on 19 April. Only then did the miway preselected panel beater start sourcing the car parts. It took a further 1 month and 26 days to fix the car. This has to be the worst insurance company to deal with. I have noticed whenever you contact the call centre the agent will do minor changes to your policy and then ask you to rate their service on hello peter. This gives the public a false impression that the company gives you great service. But in actual fact these are all trivial tasks that they use to boost their image. DO NOT GET FOOLED BY THIS MARKETING TACTIC. MIWAY is the worst company to deal with when you want things done quickly and efficiently.
I will continue to actively promote my experience with Miway incompetence and the time it took to approve my claim. Three collegues at work have declined insurance from them after hearing my situation. I have informed friends and family whom will be also leaving them.

The vehicle is still not completely fixed. It has a noise coming out of the tyre on the side that it was damage.
