Beyond Pathetic!!

I am utterly shocked and disgusted with MiWay. Thank goodness I am not a client of them.

THEIR client causes a accident. It was raining heavy. He smashed into the lady in front of me and then into me. And let me tell you, this happen on the 14th of June 2018. Today, 22 August 2018 we receive feedback. The damage to the vehicle I drove is R 8951.45. THEY are willing to pay 90% which is R 7732.31 and WE are liable for 10% which is R 4263.93. This brings us to a shameless payout from THEM of R 3468.38!!!! Wait, there's more! The reason for this is (and I quote directly from THEIR email) : It is our submission that you contributed 10% and our client 90% to causing more damages to your vehicle. Our reasons for this are as follows, you: -Failed to keep a proper lookout of the road ahead as well as maintain an awareness of your immediate vicinity [Venter v ****son 1965 (4) SA 22 (E)]. -Failed to break/swerve to prevent this collision.

MiWay is a pathetic insurance!!!
