Battery issues

I am very disappointed.

Had accident and MiWay took my car to Nu Wagon. The was repaired and I am happy with that, however I'm now having issues with the car battery. The battery was in perfect condition when they picked up the car. I've never experiening issues with my battery ever since I bought the car. The car won't even start and it's currently wearing unlocked at the parking lot. How can you take a car for repairs and then it comes back with more problems.

Below is the response I got from Nu Wagon: "a battery only have a lifetime of 12months if the battery was bought more than 12months ago the client will have to buy a new battery if the battery was bought in 12months the client can always go back to the supplier because a battery normally gets a warranty off 12months"

Since when does a battery work for only 12 months.
