Bad service no pay out on claims

This home contents insurance really disappointed me and hurt in a bad way. I claimed my washing is nolonger working the pump is nolonger working soo their report says the pump is nolonger working the cause is wear and tear, how can it be wear and tear If that is the component that makes the machine is like it’s the engine of The machine however I’m told that is wear and tear. They only attend to your matter if you write something bad on social media
