Bad service and utter unprofessionalism

I put in a claim with miway on 16 May 2016, regarding the hit and run accident my vehicle was involved in on 14 May 2016.

However, I only received an email on the 19/05/2016 informing me that my claim has been registered when I was under the impression that it was registered on Tuesday already. It tells me that miway only registered my claim yesterday!?!

Furthermore in that email i was informed that arrangements with regards to the assessment process will be communicated to me within the next 2 - 3 working days. When I was informed of that on Tuesday already by Ms Jeandre. Because I was under the impression that the third day is today, 20/05/2016.

Apart from that I am paying for a curtesy car that im not provided with…I have been stranded without a car since Sa****ay after the accident. On Monday,16/05/2016 I was informed by Ms Letshabo Hlabyago and Ms Solani Baloyi (miay consultants) to first put in a claim than i will be assisted with a curtesy car afterwards.

I put in the claim on Tuesday only for it to be registered on Thursday afternoon, which simply tells me that I might receive the curtesy car next week or never because if I don’t follow up on the matter,no one calls me back for feedback not even the person handling my claim Ms Mandisa Xulu.

I am clueless on what is currently going on with the claim process, the assessment of my vehicle or when i will receive the curtesy car. I don’t mind paying the fee attached to utilizing the curtesy car and I have made miway aware of that.

I have left a message with various consultants including Ms. Sannete Jacobs yesterday asking to be called back but I’m still awaiting. I called again yesterday afternoon and this morning,20/05/2016 left messages but I still haven’t received any feedback from miway. I was given a direct line of Ms Zulu by Ms Precious Ramokopa, her colleague but still couldn’t get hold of her there.

Im shocked just at how miway treats its clients! Furthermore I’m going to the insurance ombudsman regarding this.

frustrated client
