Bad service

I would like to complain regarding the treatment I have received when cancelling my insurance.

This is what happened I took out a policy with the policy number ********** 5 on the 10/11/2017 and cancelled it on the 13/11/2017 which it was yesterday.

I was told by Senior manager which I cannot recall the name that my insurance will be cancelled on the 12/12/2017 and I will be charged a fee of R999 if I’m not mistaken a pro rata which I failed to understand why cause I only had the service for 2 days and according to CPA law I can cancel at any given time for as long as I’m still within the 7 day working period. The lady from the complaints department called me and explain that they don't compile with the CPA law and if I understand correctly every company is abide by this law. To my suprise yesterday they debited R1111.49 on my account without even a confirmation letter that the premium has been cancelled or not. This is a total ******* considering I only took out the insurance only one day then cancelled the next day due to their excess that is extremely high. I do not want them to contact me as I'm still waiting for a call recording that the lady I spoke to said she will send to me. All I want is for the insurance to be cancelled without any fees going through my account and a confirmation letter. Should they decide to reason with me they can contact me on ********** 458.
