Again Miway... Very Disappointing. Get ready its a long story...

Further to our claim with Miway, We at some point spoke with an agent that assisted us correctly. And advised us what panelbeater to us in our area, I then proceeded to get a quote from them after they accessed the vehicle.

This I mailed to Miway, they didnt get. I then communicated via Whatsapp, sent it via whatsapp the agent confirmed it was attached to my claim. Then after I made a follow up the agent ask for the quote., "The system shows we are waiting for your quote". Ok, We then supp**** the quote again. moving on... ; (

This is the part of Miway that really frustrates me. As of December 2023 I've been a member to insure my 2011 model vehicle. They did not ask me to take the vehicle anywhere to be assessed they only used pictures, cause they have fancy software that can access a vehicle, cool happy for you.

I asked the panel beater to quote me on original parts, as my vehicle is fitted with original parts, they quoted Miway about R67 557.20 for the repair work, Miway's fancy software said the repair cost is only worth R20,928.08, this doesnt even buy the Bonnet.

Now keep in mind, this was NOT an accident caused by us, someone else reserved and damaged my vehicle. So, can Miway not claim the quoted amount back from that companies 3rd party? Why must my original vehicle after all these years be repair with after market parts., the fact that they quoted means they can source the original parts.

Miway what are you trying to prove? This doesnt come out of your pocket, its comes out of that companies 3rd party.

On a side note: What is the point of your whatsapp service? Cause the whatsapp communication is never filters to agent calling???
