AFTER SERVICE NIGHTMARE, ****** BY MIWAY!!!

when i was shopping for insurance for both my cars Miway seemed like an obvious choice since i got the best service and even went as far as giving the consultant a review here on Hello-peter.

However that was a bit short lived since AFTER signing up its been a complete nightmare! My cover was due to start on the 1st of February 2020, upon signing up i informed the consultant that in only get paid on the 7th of every month, he then informed me that the will deduct a pro-rata amount of R247. I agreed to this. He explained that i need to send the car for an inspection (which was done on the 2nd of Feb) and on the 3rd an amount of R1612.40 was debited, at that moment i assumed i was covered. on the 4th of feb another debit order of R247 was taken successfully, i assumed it was the pro-rata and didn't think much of it. on the the 7th an amount of R1550.00 was debit it didn't go through but the amount was debit everyday unsuccessfully and (imagine the bank charges of every single unsuccessful debit).

On the 28th GET A MESSAGE FROM MIWAY INFORMING ME THAT I HAVE NOT BEEN COVERED FROM THE 10TH OF FEB TO 6TH OF FEB!!! i Called them immediately ton inquire about this and Lebogang couldn`t CONFIRM WHETHER I WAS COVERED OR NOT, i sent him an email on the 28th with my bank statement and he promised that his supervisor will contact me to confirm whether i had cover or not. No one called me to advise whether i had cover, i called on monday and i was told i was going to get contacted still nothing , until i phone them again on Tuesday i expressed how unimpressed i was i that i wanted to get my refund since i was not covered. however i have bank statements to prove this, so this means that i was driving without insurance for month of feb, my Issue is that if have been driving without insurance for the past month I want my full refund of R1612.40!!

This is ********* because should i have been involved in a car accident i was not going to get cover since i`m getting messages that was not covered every sing morning!! so since i was not covered I WANT MY MONEY BAC****!!
