Accident claim delays

I was involved in a car accident on 1st December 2018. I claimed from miway. They have been investigating since then. First, they called my friend that I was visiting before I was in that accident and they asked questions about whether I was drinking alcohol or not. Then they came to my house and asked me if I was drinking. I am still puzzled where alcohol comes in here as I was hospitalized and blood tests were done to check for alcohol during the examinations done by the doctor. My neighbors were also interviewed, i still don't know the reason for that as the accident happened in Pretoria. They called on Friday ( 28th December 2018) saying they have not made the decision to pay out or reject the claim because the decision committee is on leave, they said they will make the decision today. Is there an institution that could assist in this matter?
