A brand you CANNOT trust

I was recently victim of car lock jamming. I followed procedure and reported the incident, and that was it. No further communicaiton from MiWay. I called day after day, with messages being taken and no returned call. 1 week later my call was returned, an "interm" handling my case informed me that the claim had been repudiated. When I asked why i was told that there was no forced entry. When I asked why the CCTV footage from the garage was no accepted, i was told that they will reopen the investigation. Another 2 weeks went by, day after day I called. I spoke to every claims adviser with the exceitpon of a manager. Every manager was always in a meeting and never once returned my call. Yesterday I went past the garage where the incdient took place, which is 20 days after reporting the incident to find out that no-one had come to collect the video footage. Shocking - no phone call, no returned e-mails and not even an attempt to collect the CCTV footage. So firstly i quesiton, how can they simply repudiate a claim without investigating and reviwing evidence. Secondly, i have received a call shortly, the 1st call since reporting the incident to be told that my claim has been repudiated. Now i question, was the video footage collected from the garage, did someone go through the footage. Just because there was no forced entry, my claim is rejected. Depite CCTV footage revealing the men who were by my car and walking away with my laptop bag.

I pay my monthly installments on time and without any hesitation. Sadly, my first claim is rejected without sufficient investigation.

I will be returning to OUTsurance, who may be slighlty more expensive BUT know how to service their customers and treat all customers as though they are important.

I caution anyone who is considering MiWay - there is a lot to loose and the risk of a claim being rejected is somewhat likely.
