Wrong Oil filled in my car
For the past couple of days I had a cranking noice coming from my Mitsubishi ASX and i visited CMH Mitsubishi Westrand for an assessment to be done in order to establish what the issue might be. I received report that part of the reason for the noise is due to an incorrect gearbox oil filled in my car. In March 2019 i took my car in for it's 120k service at Mitsubishi Princess Crossing, which is the dealership i bought the car from and they had been doing my services. Sadly in April I was involved in an accident and my Insurance Auto & General approved for my vehicle to be repaired by their affiliate Renew It Greenstone. Part of the repairs done on the vehicle include the gear box.
Now that an incorrect oil has been found on my car, neither Mitsubishi nor Renew It is taking account of the oil. I am required to pay roughly R5000 to have the oil flushed. How is this something i should be liable for when I am not personally responsible for replacing oils on my car?
This is extremely frustrating and I need this resolved asap. Incompetency and negligence needs to be dealt with. Any damages caused on the car as a result of this will most definitely be accounted for.
My need door to knock on will be the ombudsman if this issues isn't resolved.

Renew-It has taken accountability of the oil found in the gearbox and they have honoured to pay Mitsubishi to flush and refill the oil.
