Very poor service

We recently bought a Mitsubishi Lancer 2. 2010.
We were aware of all the damages on the vehicle.
When we took possession of the vehicle, we realised that the air conditioner does not work and that the radio's display is also not working.
We immediately contacted the dealership and we were informed that we should take the car to a workshop for a quote for repairs and send it through to Mitsubishi.
The problem here is that we live in Kathu, with only a local garage.
My husband works during the day and I am on maternity leave.
As I am typing this, I am sitting in this workshop with a baby, with no facilities, I have not eaten all day and I can't help but think how it came about that I am now the responsible person to get a car fixed because it was poorly checked before releasing it to us, the customers.
There is a very real chance that thus garage cannot fix the problems, which will mean my husband has to take a days leave to take the car to another garage, 200km's away, leave the car there and take another days leave to go and pick it up, resulting in extra expenses for us.
