Poor Mitsubishi after sales service is killing the brand in South Africa

I have had pathetic service from Mitsubishi this past year or so. Firstly, it seems that as a product, Mitsubishi is exorbitantly more expensive to run and maintain than any equivalent vehicle type for type. Secondly, the parts are difficult to obtain. Thirdly, and what has bugged me the most is the atrocious service received from the agents when you try to buy anything from them. I belong to a WhatsApp group specifically for Tritons and I'm not the only person complaining about this. But my latest irritation is the fact that I have been unable to buy the parts I need to work on my car this coming weekend. Last week we contacted Mitsubishi in Boksburg to buy a crank seal and the balancing shaft seals. The parts salesman indicated that we would have to pay before the parts are ordered. He gave us an email address which we sent a request for the invoice on. That was Thursday. By this morning I had not received any response. I tried phoning the branch but the phone just rang then cut off. I then went onto the website where I was promptly helped by an agent. I explained my problem and the person indicated she would relay both my complaint as well as my message to the relevant people and they would get back to me shortly. I have not heard anything since. This is pathetic. How does a company expect to maintain sales shares in a market this brittle at a time like this with such poor service?
