Do not buy Mitsubishi parts from Pinetown Mitsu

First Incident: My wife's Mitsubishi required a new alternator for which I was quoted a ridiculous amount of R16 000. They required payment upfront and then 5-6 weeks delivery as they stated it had to be imported from Japan. I declined to pay that exorbitant amount and a morning of searching found me a brand new, OEM alternator, imported from the US, at R3900, including import duty and postage. The kicker? I had the alternator within 3 weeks. Absolutely exorbitant prices and dismal delivery from Mitsu Pinetown.<br> <br> Second Incident: Wed 29th July 2015: I phoned Mitsubishi in Pinetown armed with the VIN number of my vehicle and ordered a reverse switch for my vehicle. The part is ex-JHB and in order to have it shipped, I was requested to please make payment first, upon which I asked for an Invoice to be e-mailed to me. It is now 4 workings days later, and still no invoice. Based on previous experience with Mitsu Pinetown, I will look elsewhere for my required part.<br> <br> Lesson?
