Disappointed
I bought my 4th Mitsubishi 3 years ago. First we wanted a 2nd hand one but the dealer said we can buy a new one for the same instalment. We also asked if they can trade in my Triton without loading anything on the new vehicle. I asked the salesman for a service plan and extended warranty up to 5 years 150 000km because I don’t want to pay for anything in the 5 years to come. The first instalment went down correct and then from there the car was double the price. When I read my invoice I can see that it say the correct instalment and then more down it say the double instalment that will go down from the 2nd month that the f&I didn’t show us. They also loaded the car with a tow bar that was never fitted. Then I took my car for the first service and was worried because there was noises from the wheels and when I go over a hump. They told me there is nothing wrong and tighten the suspension and lubricated it. And so I went on complaining about the noise till the 60 000km service where they typed on my invoice the control arms need to be replaced but not informed my husband about it. I took the car in last week complaining about the noise again and they phone me with a quote on new control arms and shocks because it is leaking oil. They also notified me that the extended warranty only pays for certain items (not shocks) so it wasn’t a complete cover like I asked for. I immediately phoned the dealership but the DP was not there so I spoke to the Sales Manager who up until today has not phoned me back. Charl the service advisor has to sort out the problem but I realized it is out of his hands so I phoned David from head office and told them this is for their account because the problem is there from day one. Later the day they phoned to inform me they made a mistake and the shocks is not leaking and I have to come in and drive with the foreman for the noise I hear. The service advisor also notified me that Head office said they will not assist me with anything.
