Minty's Tyres THE GLEN

Stay away from Minty's The Glen. I went in there today at about 10am to fit tyres on my SUV. The guys at the front desk said that their computer is offline so they will call another branch to check for stock for every customer today to see if they have stock upstairs in this branch. They go ahead and call and find out that they do have stock. I pay them and I wait over 2 hours while the two at the front desk are battling to handle this whole operation because they can not cope with phoning the other branch so often. Then apparently they are also two staff members short so this is another major delay. Finally 2 hours later when it comes to my turn the guy goes upstairs to fetch the tyres only to find that he does not have stock. Meanwhile, they had already done the wheel alignment with out fitting the tyres and had already charged me and had already removed my tyres. Then they come to me saying (2hrs later) that there was a mistake and that they don't have stock! By then, the owner walks in and they tell him the situation. He was not apologetic at all. He decides to make himself a coffee and a sandwich and could not be bothered at what just happened. So these guys gave me most of my money back but charged me for the alignment which they should never have charged me for, considering what had just transpired. They put the old tyres back and I go home. Stay away from these disorganized fools. When you can not cope when the computer is down and staff is short then you should not run business on that day.
