Minty's and Nexen Tyres

I bought two Nexen N Fera RU5 (255 40 R19) tyres from Minty's Randburg on the 5th of February 2019. On the 10th of March 2019 I hit a pothole, the tyre deflated and I changed it immediately. I went to my nearest Minty's tyre fitment centre (Minty's Bedfordview) the very next day to get this sorted out, because according to Nexen Tyres warranty on their website (Roan Hazard Replacement Program) if the tyre cannot be fixed it will be replaced under this agreement. The fitment centre simply informed me that they do not cover road hazards and that I need to replace the tyre at my own cost. I was not doing more than 8 km/h when I collided with the pothole. I have driven through the same pothole before with a set of old Goodyear tyres and I did not get any damage then. Now I need to replace a tyre and have a rim fixed. Very disappointed in Minty's I have always supported them but no more.
