False advertising

<p>I recieved a pamplet yesterday with all the prices of goods at Minty's.</p> <p>I however recieved a quote from another Company on tyres so I decided to call Minty's Midrand today as they tag line says " Quote it Wheel beat it" - this was the total opposite with my experience today.</p> <p>The tyres i requested was for 4 X 235/35R19 selling for R1069 each at Minty's Midrand and the other Company is providing the tyres for R950 each. I also had given the sales consultant the details of the other Company to verify the pricing to which she came back to me and said that the pricing i got was true and correct.</p> <p>She then said she will speak to her manager and get back to me, her manager then said he couldnt match the price...this is false advertising!</p> <p>I called and spoke to another gentle men as i was not happy, he then tried to say that i am not going to fit the tyres, do balancing and alignment to which i said i did indicate that i will be doing everything by them, he then couldnt find another excuse so he said they can better price due to making profits.</p> <p> </p> <p>I even highlighted the tag line and they advertising is misleading to which he couldnt even reply.</p>
