Avoid Mintys Tires and Honda Johannesburg South cnr main Reef and Production Rd Amalgum.

Purchased a demo Honda (300 km on the clock so lets call it new) from Honda Johannesburg South. (Corner Main Reef and Production Road Amalgum). Complained of a slight vibration in the steering and prior to collection they had the tires balanced at their sister company alongside them Mintys Tires. After collecting the vehicle I washed it and then noted deep gouges scratched into all four of the brand new Mag wheels where the old weights had been removed. Herewith a copy of my mail to the DP who I understand is responsible for both companies. He never bothered to acknowledge nor rectify. Suggest to avoid at all costs if you treasure your car like I do: Mr Imraan Minty I have shown you utmost decency and respect albeit the damage done by the Tire shop to the rims. I have sent you detailed photos and u asked me to bring the car in and you would inspect it. I didn’t bother you until this point in time when I brought the car in yesterday to have the designated work done on it. I saw you personally and discussed and remained civil about it, albeit you fobbing it off as a demo. You didn’t even bother to inspect them nor revert to me. Two of your staff were made aware both said it’s up to the DP and the DP alone. How can I trust you or your dealership – imagine what goes on where it’s not visible. I urge you to advise urgently.
