Most pathetic experience
Absolutely horrible experience! Please never use their services.
It was one of the most traumatic experiences we ever faced. The deposit was paid to the company weeks before the collection. They confirmed they would collect on the 31st of August 2023 between 10am and 12pm, the day we moved out.
They did not pitch up by 12pm and advised that the truck had a break down. They said the truck would arrive by 5pm the same day which never happened.
We had new tenants that needed to move in that day, so we had to move all furniture outside. They promised that they would collect the items at 5am the next day. We had to book a hotel and got back at 5am only to realise that they had **** yet again, and the vehicle was nowhere to be seen. They advised that the truck is offloading at another client and will be there by 11am. The truck did not pitch up again. They then advised they will be there by 5pm. The truck still did not pitch up. They then said that they will collect in the evening after 8pm. At this point, we asked them for the location of the truck, we went to another town and found the truck still offloading at another client. That client was extremely frustrated with the level of service and the number of damaged items. He was on the phone with the company screaming about insurance, poor service and reimbur*****ts. After hearing this and experiencing the huge inconveniences and poor level of service, we advised Mint logistics that we would like to cancel the collection and would like our deposit returned. They refused to return the R5000 deposit that was paid to them. It cost us 3 nights of additional hotel bookings, meals and all the additional inconveniences dealing with Mint logistics. I hope that no client must experience what we did. Please use any other company.

08 Feb 2024, 22:29This client booked a truck for the 28-30th July and he after changed to 30th August and we had to change with all the plans we had planned for his move . Then on 30th of august we asked him to be flexible for atleast further 2 days since this was not the original plan but he didn’t like it we sent a truck from Johannesburg where our main office are to Cape Town with a small load in so doing to avoid expenses because his price was for a return load not dedicated like he is claiming. When our truck reached in Cape Town at his address he said he has changed his mind and going with another company and he didn’t give us any chance whatsoever and we told him this truck has come for you purposely but he didn’t care . We told him we can’t refund the deposit unless we get a load from Cape Town back to Johannesburg or Durban but in that time w couldn’t because it was a short notice. Mr Avinash went into court with our lawyers of which the case was dismissed lacking proper evidence and I have proof.

12 Feb 2024, 11:58We referred your lawyers to our company lawyers and secondly we told you the truck has no load going back to KzN it was there purposely for you and you changed you refused. The truck came back empty .
