Buttered up @ Mimmos Gateway

<p>So I purchased a pizza and a fettuccine pulled pork pasta in creamy white sauce last night for take away.</p> <p> </p> <p>Got home well and hungry and decided to dig in.</p> <p> </p> <p>Popped some pasta into the microwave and as soon as i opened the door, I got the smell of............ only margarine. So giving them the benefit of the doubt, considering that it may be the way its prepared, and obviously wouldn't taste that way, so I sat down and began eating.</p> <p> </p> <p>This was the absolute worst pasta I have ever eaten, and I am even making comparison to my own very first attempts of pasta, with no recipe or general idea of what i was doing...</p> <p> </p> <p>The meal continued to ooze the fried margarine stench, and absolutely no scent of any well prepared dish.</p> <p> </p> <p>The fettuccine was drowned in a yellow oily substance (can you guess what that was) and if there was white sauce to be made mention of, it had zero effect on the meal whatsoever.</p> <p> </p> <p>After a few bites, I had to dispose of whatever remained, and was left feeling miserable from the abundance of unnatural rich flavor...</p> <p> </p> <p>Now, I have given 3 stars in my rating, and that’s because, a little while later, as my stomach began to settle, I decided to have a slice of the pizza, and to my general expectation the pizza was awesome.</p> <p> </p> <p>So I don’t know if the pizza is just easier to prepare for an uns****ed chef, or it was an honest mistake, or if the pasta is absolutely meant to taste that horrible, but I know that I will never look at the pasta menu again at mimmos, and to whom ever is reading this, I strongly suggest sticking to the pizza at mimmos as well.</p>
