An honest message to future brides A wedding dress is not just a dress. It is a dream that many girls carry in their hearts for years. The dress she walks down the aisle in, the one in which memories are captured for a lifetime. For this very reason, the process of designing or creating that dress should be a joyful and special experience. Unfortunately, our own experience with Mimie Bridal Atelier / Bridal Hub / ItsallMimie was, for our family, very stressful and disappointing. Despite several attempts on our part to resolve the situation professionally and privately. We are sharing this to raise awareness and to help other brides make informed decisions when working with any wedding dress designer or supplier. If we can offer one piece of advice to future brides, it is this: Make sure the "designer" is registered and qualified. • Get all designs, ideas, and expectations clearly in writing • Keep records of all communication and changes • Confirm fitting dates, timelines, and delivery in writing • Make sure you understand your consumer rights before making any payments • And most importantly, trust your instincts if something does not feel right. A wedding should be a time of joy and excitement, not a process that places unnecessary emotional strain on a bride or her family. This post reflects our personal experience and perspective, shared in the hope that other brides can better protect themselves and enjoy a smoother experience.
