No longer a reputable institution

In my opinion, Milpark has moved from a respected institution, into a money making business scheme.

When I registered as an online, part time student in 2017, the support was great & tutors responded to you way before the 48 hour turn around advertised. Some even called to talk you through issues you may have had. The assignment & exam overview sessions were engaging and added value.

Fast-forward to 2021, no support from tutors. They (OMAN02-6) respond to you 5 to 7 days later. Students are not invited to overview sessions to ask questions for clarity & the tutor reads verbatim from the slides that are being presented in the recording. In the exam overview session where students were invited, the tutor confused all, even herself, while going over the formulas that are appearing in the exam - this Tuesday. This was because no effort was made in preparing the session as she used a previous text book & not the prescribed textbook us students were advised in getting for this module. The rest of session was then rushed because almost 15 minutes was wasted trying to figure out the correct formula. What a sham. Incorrect advice was given for our assignment & marks were lost. When questioned about the loss of marks, we were told be apply for remarking - which costs in excess of R250. Why should students be held liable if the mistake was made by the tutors? No accountability.

Each module costs close to R7500 and on top of that we buy our own textbooks, which are not cheap either.

What are we even getting for our fees?

I already know the reply to this post will be "We are sorry for the inconvenience caused ..."
