Milpark A waste of Money for nothing (investment administration)

<p>I have failed my module because of an online assesment that is not compulsory, and according to their Faqs the marks do not count for the overall formative assesesment, I have copied the following from their own website(this test will be for practice purposes only and will not count toward your overall formative mark)</p> <p>can anyone explain to me how this happens</p> <p> </p> <p>1. there is no transparency on the calculation of the marks and clearity</p> <p>2. there is no transparency on what is needed and not needed, if the online assesment counts towards my overall mark why are we allowed to write the exam in the first place without doing the online test.</p> <p>3. I have read all documents sent to me by Milpark and no where has any of the above been explained.</p> <p>4 what I find very disturbing we have a totally different dashboard from the one they use, why dont we use similar systems to show us and guide us as distance learners and moniter our progress.</p> <p> </p> <p>I am even thing of leaving milpark because of this and for the money we pay, the service really sucks, first I was annoyed with the venue where we write exams, the recreation centre lifts dont oparate properly the direction to where you need to go once you have reached the recreation centre is a mission you need to walk up a floor check if you have arrived and keep doing that untill you get there.</p> <p> </p> <p>I enrolled with Milpark because of the standard I thought they had, right now I regret ever enrolling with them and the amount I have paid just for 3 books and my paper being marked and i have paid 10950.</p> <p> </p> <p>anyone who wants to do investment administration with Milpark I would advise them NOT to for a similar qualification at wits you will only pay 9 500 for every thing and its called introduction to investment and finince and they do everything that is done there they offer classes once a week.</p> <p> </p> <p>I am very dissapointed thinking I would recieved better treament and professionalism for the amount we pay.</p> <p> </p> <p>I feel Milpark is a money making business that doesnt care at all their distance learners, I did definetly receive reminders on the online assesment, but now where as well on the remind did it say it was compalsory and it would affect my ovarall mark.</p> <p> </p> <p>Now apparently I qualify for a supplementary exam which I have to pay 1500 for like really that means a module now is about 5100 no.</p>
