Fit and Proper Complications

Good day

My name is Sifiso Miya,in 2013 I was hired as a financial advisor at Old mutual...but because previously I had worked for another financial institution I had to start with my Fais immediately, so that was done,the whole cause is about 5 subjects ..I did 3 whilst with old mutual I left old mutual with hope for greener pastures, the problem started when I contacted milpark to continue with my outstanding two subjects...I was no longer a priority because I was now an individual and not as a corporate group...I would request for assistance no one would get back to me,firstly I'm base in Jhb the certificate i m doing is only based in their Cape Town branch so meaning do not have any form of assistance in JHB even though they have a branch in Melville. The request started in 2017 in December,I did explain that the reason it took so long was due to financial problems. FF to first semester 2018 I was finally registers for both subjects and failed to qualify for one subject as I had no assistance at all with the assignments.. I was due in June I begged Milpark to redo my subject before then as per fit and proper requirements so that I can keep my Job,they refused told me only I can do it second semester,when I contacted them to register to do the one subject I spoke to a guy by the name of Keith....I explained to him my situation and asked him what next would I need to do? gave him my ID number to check my profile ,he advised me that I would need to just write an exam..I reconfirmed with him and we went on with thee registration I was given the date for the 10th of October that was in early July, 3 weeks before exam date I received an SMS with my results for my assignment saying DNS which I assumed DId Not Submit- I called immediately and tryed to rectify that ..all I got was a sorry for the inconvenience with the misleading information provided by the agent...as we speak now I have added to SA statistics of unemployed youth as from June my company let go of me..I have kids in school and a family that I support financially... I have no date as to when I'm going to be given an opportunity to do my one subject..I was advised that unfortunately as I'm the only student with this problem I cannot be assisted. With another assignment as there is cost involved e.g hire the vanue,invigilator set another exame paper at least if maybe there was 5 of us(corporate). As from today milpark cost me +/- R20 000 net salary up untile I get my full qualification.

Good day,.. Before I go forward I would like to thank the platform hellopeter provides.. This is SIfiso Miya again..I have received a response from Milpark Education...which I'm not happy about...appreciate the effort to have me write my subject at half the cost...and extending the deadline to my qualification..the problem here is as of The October month I was supposed to have resumed work again but I CNT because I couldn't write my subject...I have tried to look for a job and received response but unfortunately I cannot be employed as I'm not fit and proper...as per advise from Milpark I can only write next year which is around May...that is too far from me as my life will stop till then..just because I'm an individual there is effort made for me to be assisted sooner ..I need to be employed and that is dependant on that qualification.. I beg Milpark to not live me in the dark in these economy times I need to be employed...as an institution that offers certificate to people depending on the qualification it should be priority to make efforts in situations like this as this risk and affect unemployment in the Country.

Good day once more,this is Sifiso Miya again,I am writing this report with the great sadness I had when I first wrote the first article ...On the 19th Friday,I was called by Graham Boisens from milpark education to yet again tell me that they will not let me write I can only write on the 02 / 05 /2019 I calculated the moths and realised it means I must be unemployed for the next 8 months,that means my kids are not attending school as I won't afford their school fees and transport I even owe for this year ever since I'm not working,basically the phone call was to tell me that no matter what I do there is nothing milpark will do to fix the mistake,referring to the second article they wouldn't have been a need for a discount for my subject if I was registered correctly which was not my fault! They wouldn't be any need to further extend my due date to finish my qualification as maybe I would have passed...at this point the only thing I can think of is a lawsuit for loss of income for all this time and all the stress milpark is causing to me and my family (dependents)....I would not recommend milpark ...I wouldn't want anyone alse to going through all this. They say young SA black man needs good examples but when we try to live an honest life this is what happens no one care for black lives that get hurt from such big mistakes from institutions like milpark.
