Millstock never buy a car from them
We bought a car from Millstock Cars, in Observatory Cape Town March 2017 hardly 3 months driving the car it had a problem with the engine and couldn't move , we advise the sales man ( I have proof) and he told us that we can bring it in for them to send it to a reliable mechanic at our own cost!!
We decided to report them at the Ombudsman Motor Industry , they took 4 months to come back to us regarding the feedbak ( after we have been pestering by emails for a feedback without any ) we later decided lets fix the car at our own cost ( after waiting for nearly 3 months) because we were struggling to move around as we just moved in to a new area with no public transport available, little did we know that if we involve a third party Ombudsman will reject the case The car was fixed at an RMI approved mechanic but it kept on having problems which we also discovered the problem according to the car history, it was always there even before buying the car .
Decided to approach the sales man after about 4 months without a car and advised him that we tried fixing it but it is not giving us any joy , He pretended as if he will help and later that day Ombudsman called us (after they were not reachable for so long ) to ask if we used a third party on the vehicle case , that was very strange but we let it slip
Basically we lost the case just like that , we are paying for a car that is not moving!! and was only used for 3 months
Millstock cars you guys are unreliable I will never recommend you even in my sleep! You took advantage of us!!! because who doesn't take responsibility when the car is only 3 months old with the consumer???
If you cant afford Lawyers I suggest that you don"t buy a car from them!
