Not getting what you paid for . . .

I was at Suncoast yesterday and ordered the Milky Lane Chocolate Caramel and Pecan Nut Waffle Tower which cost a total of R39.90. I had previously purchased this at the Milky Lane in Pavilion so I knew exactly what to expect, however upon receiving my order I was completely disappointed. At Pavilion Milky Lane there was no mistaking that what I saw on the menu was exactly what I got on my plate. Instead of 3 medium sized chocolate waffles stacked up with a mixture of ice cream, caramel sauce & pecan nuts, what I received was a 3 quarters of a regular sized chocolate waffle which was the 'tower' which barely had caramel sauce and only a few pecan nuts at the top. When I told the waitress that it did not look at all like the menu or like the 1 I had previously enjoyed at Pavilion Milky Lane, she said 'That's how we do it here!' . . . Milky Lane has over promised in their menu and under delivered on the product . . . I would not encourage anyone to waste their hard earned money on lack lustre products served up by franchisee owners who are clearly more interested in altering products to save a quick buck. Who knows how many other customers have been unknowingly **********. . .
