Oh Milky Lane at east gate my dear? Bad bad !!!

We arrived there were 3 tables in store and only 4 chairs to share amongst the 3 tables. Cool we placed our order, classic and original waffles. The order came through the ice cream was not the Milky Lane ice cream that we know. It was flat, zero taste just ice. The chocolate sauce was runny as if it was diluted.

We then asked for the manager to check why the servings weren’t what Milky Lane usually offers. Instead of receiving an explanation the lady was inaudible and had to ask number of times what she was saying. She went on to say their machine had a problem. My question is why sell us something that you know very well isn’t up to standard. The manager went to the back and came back with a small cup of ice cream which tasted like the Milky Lane ice cream we know and she left. With regard to the sauce she said it’s not their brand so she can’t answer why it’s runny.

No apologies, no refunds, didn’t even offer to re-do the order. Only when I asked for a receipt reprint to escalate the matter to head office did they start taking us seriously. Two cashiers came to apologise however at that time it was already too late because of the managers bad customer service.

So disappointing! As a Milky Lane regular customer that was just disappointing.
