Double charge on credit card!

Theft!!! On Monday 21 Dec, my partner took his daughter for waffles at the Clearwater Milky Lane. I joined, and when he tried to pay, it was declined. I then tried to use my card and again it was "declined" (no declined receipt provided). The waitress then said the machine might be flat so fetched another that went through. When I got home, I checked my bank statement and the amount had been deducted twice. I called immediately, gave all the details to the manager who assured me she would have it reversed by the owner. I have now called almost every day (I'm on holiday right now) and I keep being told that someone will call and this will be resolved. A week later, I am still waiting! This is theft!
